Lauren because it is the only name we could agree on. I wanted Madeleine and he wanted Gwen, so we met half way with Lauren

Catherine because DH got to pick it. And it's really sweet because my mom and sister are both Catherine. DH likes the nickname Kate, so sometimes we call her Lauren Kate.

ETA: If our first was a girl, we had chosen Nora Grace. Just because we liked it.

Lily Miriam - We knew we wanted Miriam for the middle name. It is MIL's name and she passed away a month before I met DH. It's a long story, but we met because of her even though I never got to meet her. She was an amazing lady. Trying to find a first name that goes with Miriam was kinda tough, but I came up with Lily, which also is somehow connected to Susan, my first name. DH & I both loved it and we had a hard time agreeing on most names. Her name totally fits her. Just hearing the name Lily made me happy when I was PG (we really thought she was a boy too - we didn't find out what we were having.) And she is the happiest little girl I have ever know.

Name has no meaning behind it whatsoever. I thought Amelia was different and no one else would have it. Well the day after I gave birth, there we 2 other Ameila Grace's born. What are the odds?

Clover Jayne - We like unique names. We couldn't decide on one and DH actually came up with Clover. It is a flower although most people tend to hear it and think of shamrocks (which is fine becasue we're Irish) or 4 leaf clovers. Her middle name is Jayne because I thought CJ would be a cute nickname, although DH calls her C Lo.

I love saying her name. She is my precious little flower.

Molly because we love the name. It's old fashioned but not overused. Anne, after his and my mother who both have a form of Ann(e) in their names.

DH picked Taylor and then I fell inlove with it.

and I picked Eve for my moms mother. I never met her and I wanted to use part of her name because it was special to me. Her name was Evelyn.

Ella Angelina - we loved the name Ella for years. Of course it starts becoming popular when we have kids Angelina is my MIL, though I almost DIDN'T use the name for that reason. It was going to be Sophia or Angelina, and the coin toss (literally) went to Angelina. I just don't like people assuming she was named after MIL.

I knew that I wanted my daughters to be named after my 2 grandmothers- Mary and Eva. They were very, very important to me and both passed within 3 months of each other when I was 29.
Orginially I came up with Emory if it was a girl- a combo of both names. We did not know what the gender was. No boy names were chosen since we were always fighting about them.
I had a severly compressed leg nerve in my pregnancy that caused unbelievable pain for me. I was in Michael's one day and out of no where the nerve compressed and I was HURTING. I said outloud (never did this before) "Molly Eva we have to find a place to sit down now"..and then all of a sudden I knew. I was having a girl and my grandma's had sent her name down to me. We had not even considered Molly, which is very similar to Mary and ends and begins with the same letters. I went home and told my husband "I just named our baby today" and he loved it and felt it was meant to be.

Rebekah-- we liked the name because it is classic, no one we know has that name, and we picked the Hebrew spelling after DH's Jewish heritage

Loren-- Has letters from both 'Nellie' (my grandma and aunts names) and
'Florence' (Dh's grandma and my great grandmas names)... to honor them since they all passed away.

No meaning for Emma, but Romina was a name my MIL had chosen to be SIL's middle name, but ended up changing it to Millie

Kaitlynn - we really liked the name, and the ability to nickname "Kate" or "Katie"...plus my middle name is Lynn and DH's mother goes by Lynn (real name is Linda)

Holley - my maiden name. I knew I wanted my daughter to have this middle name before I even met DH!!

eta - We also have a tradition in my family of having at least one name have double letters in it - so with DD's name, we got both first and middle name with double letters (like me)

Please keep in mind that Im a huge believer in middle names meaning something thing.....

Ariel Jae OK Ariel b/c I thought the Little Mermaid was just about the prettiest little thing I had ever seen...Jae b/c her brothers had died the year before and I wanted add something to her name for them..J is for Jonathen and A is for Andrew.

Alexis Deanna Faith Alexis b/c there was just the cutest little girl on Sesame Street named Lexi...Deanna is my mother..we'll get to Faith at the end of the post..

Jaedyn Luisa Hope Jaedyn b/c Will & Jada had a son when I was pregnant and I thought it was an awesome name...Luisa b/c that's Xs moms name...Hope see below

The twins middle names are Faith and Hope b/c I had lost a set of twins before Ariel...I had always always wanted to twins...so to be expecting twins again was just a miracle beyond miracles...So I added Faith & Hope because.."all you need is a lot of Faith and a little Hope" The girls names are also a "J" name and an "A" name for their older twin brothers...(their guardian angels)
