Spinoff off of Tipping Garbage Men
How much does everyone give? We have never given to them but they have been really great this year so we want to give them something. There are 2 guys. Thanks!

how do you get it to them. the place where they pick up my trash is actually really far from my house (i live on a private driveway w/ a bunch of houses on it and i have to lug it to the curb) so i never actually see them. last year i tried taping a card to the lid and when i picked the cans up that night, the card was still there.

i was wondering this, too... how do you get it to them?? they come really early in the mornings while i'm getting ready for work, so its not like i can run out there in my pajamas and hand them a card- LOL

There are 3 guys and they are great, will take anything that is not nailed down or tied down. I have a special place in my heart for garbage men.....my Dad was one of them for 32 1/2 years and I know how hard they work, in all kinds of weather, while getting splattered with all kinds of waste.
There was one time my Dad came home with covered in dead animal blood, found out later it was from some guy who just got back from hunting.
I don't know many people who would want that.....and can you imagine what would happen if there were no garbage men.

Where do you put the tip? they say don't leave it on the can, but I don't know how else to give it to them! I leave for work before they even get to my house!
