I got a MAC brush and it sheds all over me Is there something I should be doing to prevent this? I'm pizzed i spent so much on a good brush and it's doing exactly what the cheap ones do

Re: spinoff on makeup brushes
a lot of brushes that have 100% natural bristles go through a natural shedding process... it's a lot of maintenance with washing & such, but if u really take care of them they will last u forever(which is why they're so $$$)... if u'd rather not be bothered than go with a synthetic blend.. what are u using the brush for? foundation? blush? i recommended a foundation brush in the other thread about the kabuki...

Re: spinoff on makeup brushes
Yes, I have the same exact problem with my MAC brushes as well. I wash them maybe once or twice a month with some shampoo and the next day is usually when it sheds the worst, but then after it's fine. They last a while though and are still my favs. If it happens I usually just take the blowdryer at low speed to my face and just brush them away.

Re: spinoff on makeup brushes
The BEST brushes I've ever used are Avon brushes. They've NEVER shed on me once!
