Spinoff to April Fool's: St. Patrick's Day Leprachaun - Trick Ideas needed

Many of you know the leprachaun vists my house every year so I'm looking for some more ideas for this year.

In years past, the leprachaun has

-put the kids shoes on the ceiling fan
-put their jackets in the refrigerator & the microwave
-painted their hair & nails green while they were sleeping
-moved them into different beds
-made a bed for himself out of our couch cushions.
- standard trail of gold Chuck E. Cheese coins to leave behind.

This year it lands on a school day so whatever I do has to cause only enough mischief so we can get to school on time & I can catch my train.

I'm going to:

- dye their hair again (only with less dye - I used too much & it hardened the roots rather than the ends).
- get St. Patrick Day tatoos for their face to put on while they are sleeping
- food coloring for the milk
- move my car so that we'll have to take another car in the morning.
- not sure if I can get them dressed for school in the middle of the night but it would save me the most tiime in the am so I'm going to give it a shot.

Any other ideas?
Trying to think of a "St. Patrick's Day lunch" the Leprachaun can make for Joseph. Can I dye peanut butter green? Is there any food for a 6 year old that refuses to eat vegetables can take for lunch that's St. Patrick's Dayish?

Also looking for ideas that of personal effects besides coins that the Leprachaun can leave behind...like a shoe or something but um....what kind of shoes do they wear?

For lunch, how about cutting sandwiches with shamrock-shaped cookie cutters or making them on mini green bagels? Maybe include some kiwi fruit for snack?

Love the shamrock-shaped cookie cutter idea! GENIUS!!Chat Icon

Will food coloring work on bread that's already been made?

What if he left behind his St. Pat's top hat? I've seen them at Party City.

Can you pick up a plastic pot like the gold is in and pack lunch in that?

You can make a puree of peas... ok, well, your DH can make a puree of peasChat Icon and add it to mashed potatoes... which you should be having on St. Pat's anyway... to make them green. He won't know they are peas... it just looks like green potatoes. You can call them Leprechaun potatoes for St. Pat's and Shrek potatoes the rest of the year.

They wear those pointy black shoes with the buckle (usually gold) on them.Chat Icon

I'll keep thinking

What about an all green lunch. If you turn the bread green, then get green jello and even a green juice box and put a label on it.

What about turning all the chairs around in the house?

no trick ideas yet but for the lunch a granny smith apple is easy and ginger ale would be a green bottle if you don't want to do green milk. not sure if your kids drink milk with lunch.

If you can find green jello and the recipe for knox blocks, you could make these and cut them with a shamrock cookie cutter. They should last, my mom used to send us to school with them once in a while and they sat in my locker until lunch time and were fine.

I've been reading that you can buy bread mix & add food coloring to the dough to make green bread. I think might try it this year... it would really shock my stepson.
