I don't have the answer to her question, but instead some questions of my own.

Does daycare costs generally go down some when you have more then one child enrolled? I'm asking because eventually we will want another child (although sometimes the thought scares me, especially with what is going on now) and I couldn't imagine paying what we pay for daycare TWICE! Do places normally give you a discount on the 2nd child, and does the age have to do with that discount?

Our daycare gives a 10% sibling discount off the lowest tuition.

But they don't give a price break until after 3 years old.

So for us, with babies 14 months apart, we are going to pay the same tuition for an infant that we would pay for a toddler.

For my daycare, the price goes down as the child gets older, and I believe there is a 10% discount for second child.
