Spinoff to Chinese -- Need takeout/delivery recc for Ronkonkoma area
Since we moved here, we haven't found a place that's nearly as good as our old place, Jen's (Hicksville).
Any recommendations in the Ronkonkoma area. I'm right by the lake if that makes a difference.

We really like Da Hang. It is on Portion Rd in the shopping center with the Waldbaum's that just closed.

Not sure how far you want to go but China 4 in Holbrook is very good.

My fave in that area is Oriental Kitchen it's on Smithtown Blvd

Ech, we have tried all of the above, and personally I think they all suck. Dah lee, the rice is crunchy and dry.
We drive to West Sayville and get food from Hoi Ming.
I also tried the new Chinese, thai place in Holbrook. Once it was good, the other time it was awful.

I don't know how far you want to travel, but we really like Wild Rice in Lake Grove. If you travel all the way up Hawkins to Middle Country, its right there.

DH picked up from there one night. It was definitely the better of the ones we've tried.
