Our bedtime routine is:

bath
pj's
book (sometimes)
bottle
crib

I can't imagine cutting out the bottle. I feel like those 10 minutes are crucial for her winding down before she goes into the crib (she lays on me on the glider still Chat Icon).

So what do you do if your DC doesn't take a bottle before going to sleep? She's 13.5 months and although I love that time and she loves her baba I need to start at least thinking of when I'm going to stop with the bottle.

Maybe just switch it to a sippy cup and still have the 10 mins of down time.

Oh I forgot to say, she will not drink it from a sippy. Well, she wouldn't last month, I haven't tried again in a while but she has been flat out refusing milk in a sippy for months! Drinks water and juice no problem.

It's okay to give her water in a sippy instead of milk before bed Chat Icon

Actually probably better since milk/tooth thing!! (i brush DS's teeth but sometimes he has more bottle afterwards..so water would be a great idea)
