Spinoff to day of the week for grocery shopping - Do you take DH/DW/SO with you?

DH and I used to go together. I used to look forward to our "ritual" every week... until he didn't go with me a few times b/c he was tired/sick/or whatever.

Once I saw how much less money it cost us when he was not there, I started going straight from work, so he COULDN'T go!

I swear, he's worse than a child. he grabs the most random and expensive imported items and insists that he MUST have them! most of the time, it got thrown out untouched, with mold all over it

I've sometimes told dh i could go alone, but he always says he wants to go with me.

We go together & we enjoy it for the most part. But he rushes me a lot though, he says I'm too slow (looking through the ads, my coupons, etc.)... that's the only thing that drives me crazy about shopping with him!

Usually I go alone because I go right after work. If I happen to go on the weekend, he comes occasionally. I like when he comes because then he waits on the deli line, which I hate doing (especially since I do not eat the cold cuts)

DH usually goes when I'm at work. He tends to veer from the list. Sometimes I'll go with him after I get out of work.

We very rarely go together. I can remember only once or twice. It's usually either me with the kids or him with the kids, depending on who is watching them while the other is at work.

nooooooo i do not go with DH....he will buy crap like jambalaya mix and spend like 6 bucks.....and then it sits in the cabinet til it goes bad. and then he watches everything i buy and starts well what are you getting that for? so nooooo i do not bring him anymore!!!!!

I prefer to go alone.
DH does keep me from getting some extra stuff, but he likes to get what w need and get out. I loved to go down every aisle and look at all the stuff and what's on sale...

I usually do go alone.
The downside is that I pay LOL

we enjoy doing it together but if we are busy then i'll just go myself.

DH goes without me . They know him in the supermarket. I usually just go by myself to pick up some additional fun stuff or to a smaller place like Trader Joes.

DH goes without me, on his way home from work, we go on the weekend together for extras things some times.

I miss DH being there to push the cart and bag the groceries. but for the $20+ we save per week, I'll do it

NO. I try very hard not to take DH with me. We always end up with a bunch of stuff I never intended to buy.

I go during the day while DH is working, so it's just me and DS.

DH does all our shopping. He started when I was pregnant with Damien (bad bad morning sickness) He is really good too. Uses his valued shopper card and coupons. He also gets rain checks for sold out sale items He is an excellent shopper

I always go by myself until recently when it started getting harder as my pregnancy started getting towards the end. Now he comes to help me or I just do peapod!

Never with DH. I can't recall a time he's offered to help But I like going for some strange reason. I just hate having to bring 2 kids with me most of the time

Alone without DH or kids. It's good downtime by myself. Even when we were childless DH hardly came with me. He'd do more b*tching then shopping.

We always go together. DH is in charge of the coupons and I push the cart and scan the items.

Most of the time alone.

DH will go during the week sometimes for us and usually sticks to the list and knows exactly what to buy (that took a long time getting to that point)

We will go together on the weekends sometimes but he does like to get in and get out and he's always saying, that he doesn't want to do a full shopping.

So I'm left having to go back and get the rest of the stuff another day because he doesn't want to spend the time. Then I tell him to stay home. He messes with my mojo sometimes.
