Spinoff to Diana's holiday card post: single pic or multiple?

I swear we're on the same wavelength again tonight Diana Chat Icon

When you get a photo card of a child/children, do you prefer one with just one nice big picture, or ones with a few smaller pics? I guess mainly for only 1 child, b/c I could see the definite need for multiple pics with multiple children. Which catches your eye more?

I've always thought of just doing 1 pic on a card, that it stands out better, but I'm having a hard time picking just 1 picture this year.

Thoughts? Not that it's a seriously important topic, just curious Chat Icon

I think it depends on the cards. I like multiple pics if they are not quite the same but go well together. I also like single pose card but I like close up for those.

ETA: obviously I am no help.

I like multiple pics. I do it for everything. Birth announcement, Christmas cards, birthday invites.

And, I love looking at cards with more than one picture -- not that I don't like single ones also - but I personally prefer the multiples. Gives us more room to be creative and show off different sides of the little ones! Chat Icon

And, we are always on the same wavelength!

I am trying to download that free trial of photoshop and it's not working - I am having no luck with these things tonight! Chat Icon Chat Icon

That's funny. I was completely sold on one great photo of them but I had such a hard time getting one...and now I'm stuck with four photos that i like.

With one child, I like one picture. With 2, I like multiples, like the card Barbara posted!

I don't have a hard and fast rule. For me it depends on what kind of pics I end up with and the cards I find. If you have the one photo that you're completely in love with that is soooo much better than the rest then I go with 1. Which is the case this year. I got one good one and that was it. Last year Barb took them and I had so many that I just could't pick one so I found a card with mulitple slots b/c I had to share as many as possible with people.
