spinoff to donating clothes

Does anyone else have a hard time parting with clothes?

DH thinks I'm crazy. I'm going through my closet now and find myself contemplating every single item.

i do.. but i really try to follow the one year rule (if i havent worn it in that long....).

we're limited w/ storage space, so i try to keep that in mind... And, i guilt myself into thinking about how someone less fortunate *could* be wearing it as opposed to it being shoved into the back of my closet Chat Icon

it depends on what it is. some items I can't wait to toss, others I deliberate. and then there are some pieces I have not worn in 5 years or more, but can't bear to part with.

Yes- some things have a ridulous sentimental value (silly, I know) so I want to keep them forever.

Yes, I usually do have a hard time parting with stuff. But I have stuff I havent worn in years. I just donated 2 big bags today and there is more to come!

We have limited space too, so I try to stick with the rule that when I bring something new home, an equal quantity must go.
