spinoff to gap's warmest coat question?
Should I get one now, or wait, do they really sell out and then not get them in again for a while. I just don't want to get one and then find something else that I want KWIM...

I just ordered Chloe hers because I know they will sell out. I got her the longer version in gold... With the 30% off it is a no brainer!!!
I always buy sesonal things early-- for instance when swim shoes come out in March I buy them because by May/June they have no sizes...

I got DD the longer gold one too- I think they're gonna be so super cute- although i'm kicking myself for not getting her the cap and scarf too.
I always buy the jacket before October ends.. after that the sizes thin out.
I would get even earlier this year, b/c of the recession stores aren't going as deep into sizes as they have in the past.

I would wait...now that Gap has changed their return policy to 30 days I don't like to buy things too far in advance from them since I may change my mind then I'm stuck.
