Spinoff to getting pg- after BC

Those who got preg. in their first month of trying- were you able to figure out when you are Oing?

This is my 1st month of trying (1st month off the pill) and I have no idea what Im doing...

I got preg. with DC#1 while ON the pill (I was on anti-biotics) so I know its possible, and Im really keeping my finger crossed for a BFP (this will be the only month Im trying until next summer- for a whole long list of reasons-mainly timing)

But I have been clueless this whole time, not sure If I O'd- when I will O, if I BD at the right times...

I tried to figure out if I was O'ing based on CM, but that really didn't work. I ended up having a lot more CM simply by going off the pill. The only way I really knew I was about to ovulate was I had sharp pulled muscle type of pains on my left side for several days around CD 19 or 20.

I bought TCOYF and was planning on reading/using it if we weren't successful the first month b/c I wanted to get a better idea of my cycles and O dates. The pill can really screw up your cycles so if you really want to figure out when you're O'ing, I'd recommend charting or OPKs. Good luck!
