Spinoff to great products...
I am looking for a wonderful pooper scooper - no joke!! I try to get newspaper under Scout's butt every time but sometimes I am too slow (big ole belly int he way!) and then, th epoops get smooshed as I try to pick them up -esp. if the grass is long. Sooo, I have to get out the hose and hose it all down otherwise he will eat whatever is left behind.
Long story long -- any recommendations on a scooper for dogs, that maybe I don't even have to bend down for?? I know there are tons out there but maybe someone knows one that works really well...!

I just use the plastic bags that come on a roll...I would think the scoopers could be more annoying, but I'm not sure.

Just as hard to get the poops out of the long grass -- and I hate using plastic...I use one plastic bag per day for his poops.

What about a shovel? I use a small spade to pick it up, just scoot it around a bit underneath the poop and it doesnt smoosh. I know you cant bend over too well so maybe a shovel?

I use biodegradable bags...I'm not a plastic fan either.

we got something called a One Scoop at the Pet expo a few years ago. You can use whatever bags you want & it cleans easier than the metal or epoxy coated rakes & shovels.
