Spinoff to hot flashes - flushed and warm face?
I'm 22 weeks and for the past few weeks i have been feeling very flushed on and off. To the point where when dh comes home and gives me a kiss hello he always says - wow your face is warm! I feel it on and off throughout the day - sort of an all over hot feeling but flushed in the face - is this normal?

That happened to me a few weeks ago and had to go to the hospital. I was about to pass out.
They told me it was most likely blood not going to my brain.
It was a very weird sensation. My face was bright red and hot.

Oh no! You are making me nervous now! But I don't feel like its anything serious enough to even call the dr. am I wrong? My face is flushed but not that red and i feel warm but that's about it....should i call the dr?

You should call the Dr. just to make sure.
I had to go to the hospital because I was going to pass out and it would go away after over 1 hour.

Thank you for your responses! What did they end up doing for you? What did it end up being?
I just called the dr.'s office and the nurse said I shouldn't worry that it is probably from the increased blood flow from being pg or hormones causing it - she also said that they will test for GD next visit in case it is that but otherwise she said to call if I didn't feel good, felt faint or it got worse or more persistent.
But after reading your posts I'm nervous now that maybe it is more serious and she is wrong!

They tested me for pre-eclampsia (They check if I had protein). They also check my blood sugar.
They check the baby.
There is NOTHING they could do and told me they were hoping it was a one time incident.

Well I'm glad you are feeling better! So in the end it ended up being nothing they could detect? Thanks again for your responses!
