Spinoff to iCarly...what shows for 5-7 year olds?

As I said on the other thread, my girls (ages 4 and 6 (on Wednesday Chat Icon...yay!)) aren't allowed to watch iCarly--or any other show on Disney for that matter.

My older DD came to me yesterday to say that she felt Nick Jr. was to "babyish" for her now that she'll be in 1st grade. Chat Icon Chat Icon Although she said she'd still like to watch the Backyardigans, Wow Wow Wubzy and The Fresh Beat Band.

What other shows are your children of this age watching other than Disney shows?

They watch a lot of The Hub, which has shows such as Strawberry Shortcake, The Smurfs, My Little Pony (these for my 4 year old)

For my 6 and 7 year old:
Fairly Oddparents
Spongebob Squarepants
Looney Toons

Mine are totally into the Smurfs on HUB! They love looney tunes, Sidekick, Pokemon, Hole in the Wall (a nightime game show that we DVR), Phineas & Ferb.

DS just turned 5 in July, he watches:

-iCarly (as mentioned in my other post)
-SpongeBob (i can not stand this show, but he gets to watch it occassionally)
-Word Girl (his fav)
-Fairly Odd Parents
-Cyberchase
-Sometimes Phineas and Ferb

If I put on Nick Jr he will usually watch whatever it is, but he wont choose Nick Jr on his own.

eta: he also like the smurfs and lots of NatGeoWild

A lot of The Hub-My Little Pony, Pound Puppies, Smurfs. Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry etc I have an almost 3 year old too so I try to keep on something they can both watch. Spongebob I cannot stand. The language is horrendous so I really try to keep them away from it as much as possible.

I have a soon-to-be 1st grader who is 5 and a 4 year old.

We watch a lot of movies on Netflix

Phineas and Ferb
Caillou
G movies

We watch a lot on 131 which is kids13

Franny Feet
Word Girl
Curious George
Cat in the Hat

I treat the Disney channel shows and other shows like that as treats.
They can watch an episode every once in a while. I started to do that once DD1 went to school because she kept saying that the kids in her class said that Nickjr was babyish and I didn't want her to feel comppletely left out. It's a balancing act.

Re: Spinoff to iCarly...what shows for 5-7 year olds?

Isn't iCarly on Nickelodeon? I don't let my son (6 years) watch Nickelodeon- I really dislike Spongebob and a few other shows on that channel. I also do not allow him to watch Cartoon Network. I haven't had any issues with the shows on Disney- He really likes Good Luck Charlie. I don't like the show with the 2 dancer girls- Step it Up (?) - Their overacting drives me bonkers- it bores him, anyway. He likes most shows on Nick Jr. still- it's a safe station to have on and not have to worry about.

iCarly is on Nick not Disney..

My 7yr watches Good Luck Charlie, iCarly, Victorious and has watched Zoey 101 but I have to literally change the channel at commercials because I totally disagree with Degrassi commercials being on a kids channel.

My 5 yr watches Tom & Jerry, Phinneas & Ferb, Wow Wow Wuzby and sometimes Spongebob
