Spinoff to Jaimie's post - Adoption

DH was adopted. He was born in N. Massapequa (according to his records) - or somewhere around there - in July of 1975.

He birth mother gave birth to him on her bathroom floor and was possibly 22 years old (the lawyer said 16 and Italian, but NYS registry said 22 - so who knows)

He was given up to the doctor who handed him to my IL's two days later.

The only reason I post this, is b/c we all know what a SMALL world this is and he has always been interested in finding any info (especially nationality - he looks sort of Mediterranean...Italian, Greek, Middle Eastern...)

He has a great relationship w/ his family and no one could ever tell him they aren't his "real" family.

So, since there are tons of Nassau folks on here and it is a SMALL world - I figured I would throw that out there

Also, if anyone has a success story or knows where to find out more info, I would love to hear!
