Spinoff to LoveyQ's stroller Q... twins & toddler - what stroller?
Need some options!
Loey turns 2 in December and the twins are due in March.
What do we do about strollers?
We still use the stroller A LOT I feel like - and Loey seems to really like being in there. He doesn't like to walk for TOO long and he'll usually want to be held.
How the heck does this work???

you can do a double side by side with a boogey board on back.
or the Double one, - Caboose with a sit/stand at end but this is like a BUS!

Im in the same boat as you except reversed! My twins will be 21 months when the baby is born and I have NO idea what Im going to do stroller wise! Like a PP said, I probably will just not leave the house with all of them.

Are those two different strollers or the same one? Sorry I'm so confused! And who makes them?

I hear you! I feel like most people will say to put the baby in a carrier, but IDK how it will be with new babies but Loey HATED any kind of carrier and they all killed my back!!

Same make- Joovy, two style triple strollers. Really a double with a sit/stand attached at end.

For some reason I only see 1 triple stroller on Joovy's website...
Do you think I need a double stroller also?
Or a triple or double jogging stroller? I feel so lost!

This might be the best bet - the twins in the seats and Loey in the back standing (not sure if this gives him the option to sit also).
Or you can do a double snap & go for the twins in their infant carriers and then maybe add a boogie board type thing to the back of it so Loey can ride along standing?
Ugh, I thought it was hard for me with #2 coming, but with #2&3 coming for you I see the dilemma...

Also wanted to add - you can do a triple stroller, but you won't be able to get through doorways or down store aisles for the most part. It would be best for walking around town etc.
How often would either you or DH be alone with all 3? Could you get a double and a single for Loey? Each of you pushes one?

Re: Spinoff to LoveyQ's stroller Q... twins & toddler - what stroller?
I have a bunch of strollers (anny buy a bunch I mean 20!)
Landon was 26 months when the twins were born.
We started off with the double snap & go and Landon walked. He thought he was helping push the stroller when I had him walk holding the stroller. It was fine.
For longer trips (like the zoo) I would take a single stroller for him and have DH push it.
The twins did not like being in their carseats all day in the snap and go, so for longer outings I bought the combi twin sport. It has 5 pt harness and reclines almost fully and they went in there at around 4 weeks old. We still use this constantly and they are 15 months. It is lightweight, folds compact, has kiddie cupholers (the 3rd one we used for snacks). Negatives are small storage basket underneath and no parent tray/cupholder. When we use this stroller Landon walks.
Then I got a triple jogging stroller. We live about 3/4 mile from a nature center that has animals and stuff, so i like to walk there. found it to be too long of a walk for landon to go there and back plus playing while there. I got the BeBe Love triple jogging stroller. It is not the highest quality but it was affordable on overstock around $350. I use this for long walks and some exercise. its only good outside. does not fit through doorways.
I recently got the Joovy Big Caboose (the one posted above). You can snap car seats into it and there is a place for the older child to stand or sit. This is great for places like the mall. Keep in mind its HUGE even when folded up. Just makes it in the minivan.
When I run with the kids I try not to bring all 3 with me. its hard to run with the triple. So I also have a double jogger and a single jogger depending on who I have with me. We use the double jogger for rougher terrain outings and have Landon walk.
I also have a graco duoglider. Its my spare double - I don't really like it. The child in the back has to look at the back of the other ones head. Its also very heavy. I still have all my singles too.

Re: Spinoff to LoveyQ's stroller Q... twins & toddler - what stroller?
my son is a little older, he was 2 1/2 when the twins were born. they were born in november so we didn't go to far all winter. just the mall and stuff like that.
most of the time my son walks. we had the double snap and go in the beginning. now i have the city mini double and the board you can attach to the back for my DS to stand on. we use that at the zoo, aquarium etc. i also always kept a single umbrella, so if we were all out together and someone was with us DS could go in there if he wanted. i never had a triple.

Re: Spinoff to LoveyQ's stroller Q... twins & toddler - what stroller?
My daughter was 19 months old, when the twins were born. In the beginning, we just used the double snap and go for quick little trips (thats all you'll do for a while;). I also had the joovy caboose, and it lives up to its name, its like a train, not easy to steer either and huge. By the time, DD was 2 , she never really wanted to sit in a stroller anyway.
There is a brand that I've seen, its a double stroller, with a little seat that attaches on for the bigger kid. When you don't have the bigger kid, the little seat can detach. Always thought that would have been a good idea.

I don't have twins, but 3 kids who all like being in the stroller. I have one of the older two sit in the front triangle of my BOB dual lie. I saw the above stroller. I was hoping there was something like this for my BOB, but no such luck. It did look like a BOB so I think maybe baby jogger?
