Spinoff to medical procedure
I have a routine dentist appointment in 3 weeks. No success TTC yet, but should I request a double shield to be safe?
The receptionist said that is what women who are pregnant do.
Any thoughts?

Will you be in your 2WW at that time? If so, I would let the hygenist know that you are TTC.

If that's the case, I would leave your appt and let them know if you get a BFP. If you get AF, then you should be fine to have a procedure.
