Re: Spinoff to mini van

well, My post id the minivan debate post.

I test drove the explorer with the third row, and liked it a lot. The ease of getting to that back seat though , well, it's NOT easy.

I really like the Honda Pilot, my brother just got a beautiful one, and loves it. For me it's out of my price range, but maybe it's something you could considerChat Icon

Re: Spinoff to mini van

The regular back seat is fine, I mean the third row seat. You have to tumble the regular back seat over, to get in there, and if you have a car seat in place there, you can't tumble it. It was really nice though, just depends on your needs.

Re: Spinoff to mini van

I have a Hyundai Santa Fe without the 3rd row option and to be honest if you put a 3rd row in you wouldn't get a pushchair in the back. DH has a Mountaineer with the 3rd row and it flips up & down completely flat, again to be honest when its up its great for transporting people but not much room in the back for anything else. I don't do much mileage at all as I work from home so I don't spend much on gas, maybe $20 per week. DH does a lot of mileage and spends about $100 a week on gas, I just asked him how many miles he does and he said "a lot" Chat Icon Without the 3rd row seating you could get a stroller and a dog (not a St. Bernard LOL) in both cars, with a baby and I would say 1 adult in the back seat comfortably.

Re: Spinoff to mini van

I have to agree with CAT. I had an Explorer with the 3rd row option...when the 3rd row was up there was hardly any trunk space. My BFF has a Pathfinder with the 3rd row option...same thing. We checked out the MDX which has a 3rd row and also minimal trunk space. If you really want a 3rd row and are going to use it alot your best bet is probably a minivan. My mom just bought the Odyssey...it's FIRE and I'm not a minivan person. Also I think Mercedes has a new minivanish car...my neighbor has it. I don't know the name but it's nice too.

it's the R-Class- very hard to see out of

I have the M- Class SUV from them and I love it- it's in the same price range as the E 350

I don't have the thrid row seats- but the truck is HUGE- bigger then my old pathfinder and explorer

I have the same, and it's been great with 2 kids.
At any given time I have a carseat, a booster seat, a single stroller, a double stroller and a portable feeding seat in it, and there's still plenty of room!Chat Icon
