Spinoff to my own bday idea post
Can anyone think of any clever ideas for Ellie's bday organized around my avatar pic b/c I'm so in love with it, it'd be great to use it for an invite. But I stop short there. I don't know how else to incorporate a ballerina kind of thing into a backyard party?

What about getting pink toule from the fabric store and using that over white plastic table covers and that's as far as I got.

I don't know how easy it would be to find the stuff, but maybe an Angelina Ballerina theme? There are quite a few of these books on Amazon, including Angelina's birthday.

I did a search for you. I thought of barbie swan lake. I googled it an oriental trading company and a few other places had the invitations and all party goods. Thats the only way i could think of incorporating a ballerina theme.

Do pink tulle table clothes, pink and white table settings, pink roses in vases. Use her photo on the invite if you want to help tie in the theme. Look into doing white and pink chocolate ballet slipper favors. You dont need to see a ballerina on every item to have the theme work. Ballet is soft and elegant..just make your party everything a pretty ballet is.

Terrific, Thanks! I checked out the sites and that gives me some favor ideas for the kids. maybe i can pick up some of the books to give out. what a cute character. That's the first I've heard of her.

yo can have the picture scanned and use it on the cake, my sister did that. You can blow it up also and pit it in a sign frame they sell them all over for all the guests to sign.

That's a great idea too! OOOOh! I'm getting very excited. This might be a really cute theme for the party. And definitely workable. Thanks Ladies. Terrific ideas. Keep em coming if you've got more.
