Spinoff to my own post, lol. WHERE did you put/mount the video monitor camera?
Right now we have the camera on the dresser next to DS's crib. But we lowered the crib so now if he's on one side, I can't see him anymore (yeah, it was lots of FUN the first time I looked at the monitor and it appeared the crib was EMPTY! I almost fainted thinking he had fallen out or had been stolen   ).
So we're thinking to mount it on the wall above the crib... but then I'm thinking the power wire will be running straight down the wall which will (a) look UGLY and (b), more importantly, be reachable by DS. I know it comes with clips for the wire so I guess that will be good enough?
Where do you have the camera for the video monitor in your child's room?

ABOVE THE DOOR POINTING DOWN.. WE STAPLED THE WIRED TO THE BORDER OF THE DOOR AND DOWN.

We mounted ours on the wall above DD crib. Our camera we are able to control so we can move it anywhere within the room.

Ours isn't mounted. We have it on top of her armoire and it's pointing down into the crib.

We mounted ours with heavy duty velcro right onto the crib

Same. We used the wire clips and DD hasn't touched it.

Mounted on the wall and DS has not yet touch the wire or anything. The crib is push away from the wall so that he cant get to it.

we bought a little corner shelf and mounted it high up on the wall.
its right near the air conditioner so the wires are hidden around that

We have ours mounted on the wall, way above the crib. We used to have it on the corner of the crib against the wall but that ended once DS started waving and eventually grabbing the camera
The way we have it, the cord isn't too visible and DS has never been able to grab it. I can't exactly explain how it is. The crib is in the corner, horizontally. We have it on the wall perpendicular to the crib, where the end of the crib is. Let me know if you need a pic.
