Spinoff to my own shingles post: vaccinating older child with MMR with unvaccinated infant
DS just go this vaccine last week but my little guy has not gotten the vaccine  If my mother can pass the shingles to the kids through the vaccine since their not vaccinated against chickenpox, can't DS1 pass something along to my 17 mo. old from the MMR vaccine?

NO, I called my pediatrician last week regrading this. MY DD got the MMR and she was supposed to to be around another child who has not been vaccinated yet. Peds said it was fine.

I just called my ped and he said the same. I started to freak out alittle
