Spinoff to Nap Post - yet another napping question
How many naps a day does your DC take - and how old are they? Also - if you could give the timing of the naps.
Thanks!

Re: Spinoff to Nap Post - yet another napping question
DS is 6 months old and naps 3 times a day, for 30-90 minutes each he gets up in the AM at around 6:30ish, 1st nap at around 9-9:30, 2nd nap around 12-12:30 and last nap around 3-4. He tends to get tired around 1 1/2-2 hours after a bottle

Re: Spinoff to Nap Post - yet another napping question
6 months old 2-3 naps/day (usually 3)
DD is up at 6:30ish Nap#1: 8:30ish - 45 min to 1 hr. Nap#2: 12:30ish - 1 hr-ish Nap#3: 4:00ish - 30-45 min.
Clearly, DD isn't into long naps, but does take 2 hour naps at the 12:30ish spot once in a while.
ETA: Bedtime is around 6:30/7:00

Re: Spinoff to Nap Post - yet another napping question
DD is 4 months old- and she generally takes 2-3 long naps a day. She usually takes a short 30-45 min nap about an hour and a half to 2 hours after she wakes up. Then, she'll take another one in the afternoon from about 2:30/3:00 until about 4:00/4:30. However, if we go out, 99% of the time, she falls asleep in the car and will stay asleep for a while.

Re: Spinoff to Nap Post - yet another napping question
Noah will be 7 months next week.
It varies every day but usually 4 naps.
Morning nap occurs about 1-2 hours after waking and is for at least an hour.
Mid afternoon one is about 4 hours later...for about an hour
Then sometimes a small afternoon one like 4-5 pm for 30-40 minutes.
And a later evening one for 45 min -to an hour and a half...
He goes to bed around 9pm,
It was an earlier bedtime but he suddenly wants to nap later and stay up later and wake up later. His sleep patterns are changing. We need to establish a routine.
Noah consistently gets tired about an hr or two after he eats.

Re: Spinoff to Nap Post - yet another napping question
Lily's day is scheduled out....all except for her naps. They happen when she wants...for however long she wants! She lets us know beforehand with a little cry...and then to sleep she goes. Anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. Usually about 3 times a day though.
Sorry - forgot to write that she's 7 months old.

Re: Spinoff to Nap Post - yet another napping question
i don't even know anymore --- he is more scheduled when he is at daycare. There he seems to do one short na shortly after I drop him off (probably like a half hour). Then he takes 1-2 hours nap a little before noon and then possibly another 2 hour nap mid afternoon. Then maybe another quick one when he gets home.
When we're home that is a crap shoot. He always naps but there is no telling when or how long.
Oh, and he is 5 1/2 months.

Re: Spinoff to Nap Post - yet another napping question
DD takes 2 naps during the day. One at about 10:30/11:00 that lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. Then again at around 3:30/4:00 that can last anywhere between 1-2 hours.
She wakes at 7:30 everyday and is down between 7:30-8:00 every night.....

Re: Spinoff to Nap Post - yet another napping question
dd is 9.5 months and ever since she was about 6.5 months, she only takes one nap a day
it is usually for about 2-2.5 hours (sometimes she will take a 3 hour nap) between 10:00 - 1:00

Re: Spinoff to Nap Post - yet another napping question
DD is 6 months and naps about 3 times a day. Usually up between 6-7am, then naps generally about every 3 hours after that, and usually for 30 minutes each (on the button!). The last few days she's been surprising us with a longer nap around noon, over an hour, which is VERY unlike her!
She starts nursing at 7pm and bedtime right after she's done, usually at 8pm.
