Spinoff to nose piercing...
If you had your belly button pierced, when did you take it out? Did you take it out?
I took mine out for good after being pregnant with dd. I was around 29. I felt weird having it in. But at times I miss it. I really do. How old do you think is too old? I'd feel weird wearing it at this point.

Spinoff to nose piercing...
I also took mine out during pregnancy and never put it back in. I was 33. I miss it too :(

I took it out when I was PG also, at 28. I still kinda miss it but I wouldn't re pierce it

I never had one, b/c I have a fat belly, but I think the universal cutoff for that is age 30.

I'm 28 and in shape. I still have my belly button pierced. I don't think I'll ever take it out completely. They have those pregnancy belly button rings that are flexible.

I also took mine out at 32 when pregnant. I had it since I was 18 though so never missed it once it was out.

My mom has her's pierced. She's 50 and in great shape.
My tummy is a little too flabby for me to get it done and feel confident, but if things were different I would totally get one.
I come from a mom and a dad who have a bunch of tattoos and piercings...it works for us, we're cool like dat

Had mine from 18-28... 10 years was enough. I took it out bc of my pregnancy. My mom got hers shortly after I gig mind and she still wears it. Had no intention on getting rid of it anytime soon. She's always looked and felt young so it suits her. I did tell her recently the trend was over though

I took mine out during my first pregnancy when I was 25. I'm back in great shape now (29 years old), but I don't miss it at all. I've grown out of that phase of my life I suppose.

I took mine out last year when I was 27. I was randomly cleaning my belly button and the ring and then decided not to put it back in. Haven't missed it at all since then. I don't think there is a certain age that it should be retired. As long as someone is comfortable with it then I say carry on.

I had on at 18 and took it out at 23. I am 35 now and wouldn't put it back in even though I am fit. Honestly, I just don't think its a good luck on anyone anymore - whatever the age. I feel like I don't really see them anymore.

see that's exactly how I feel too. I'm fit and in great shape also, but can't picture myself wearing one. I feel weird about it. I never see them anymore.

I took mine out around 22. Truthfully, mine never healed well and always looked somewhat crooked to me.  I was totally over it after college.

Whenever people ask about this I think back to when I was the only person in my Fire Island share house who didn't have one. I never had one. I think maybe one of those girls still has it now and she was the oldest and it suited her the best.
