This is a great topic I think!

I have to rave about two items that we have.....

The Fisher Price Papasan - my son LOVES this. It vibrates adn plays music. He didn't like it at first, but it didnt'n take long. He is almost 2 months now - it has been a lifesaver. He's not crazy about sleeping onhis back, so when we really can't get him to sleep in the bassinet, this does the trick. He likes it asleep, or awake.

Summer Video Monitor with nightvision. This is GREAT! Because Baby is a VERY noisy sleeper... he was sleeping at night, but we weren't! We put him in the nursery instead of our room...only because we had the video monitor, so I coudl see him and not just hear him (otherwise I don't think I coudl have done it- I felt horrible enough already having him "so far"!). The monitor is great... it is so clear, I can see his tummy moving as he breathes! It is pricey, but I highly recommend it.
