Spinoff to personal assistant question - POLL
This is completely anonymous, but if you are a personal or executive assistant, how much do you make? I am just curious. Don't answer it it offends you.
I'm talking BASE, not overtime or bonuses.

Re: Spinoff to personal assistant question - POLL
I think it depends on what field, Alicia. I have a friend who is a personal assistant to financier George Soros, and she makes $75k. She blows me out the darn water!

Not much IMO. Most executive assistants wind up doing personal stuff as well.

Yep, I always have. Some bosses are just better than others at handling the balance.

Agree.
The difference (just my observation) is that personal assistants are more for really busy/important people, but not part of a corporation.Executive assistants are usually employed by a company, but work for an individual boss.

I agree and I also think it has a lot to do with location of the company also...I work in medford, LI as an exec/admin assistant and make around $40,000...NOT NEARLY enough plus I dont get overtime or bonuses! SUX. I am thinking of changing careers...VERY SOON!@
