spinoff to pillow- when can you give them a blanket?

I really think Luca would be happier with a blanket, but he does move around in his sleep. He likes to cuddle close and bury his head when he sleeps (usually near the bumper) and I just think he would love a blanket. He's almost 6 months.

Steven's been sleeping with a blanket since day 1. A fuzzy blanket, no less (I know, BAD mommy). But now he can't go to sleep without it.

IMO, if you feel comfortable with it, then go for it!

DS uses a crocheted blanket. Makes me breathe easier knowing he can breathe through it. He's been using it since about 6 months.

Jacob has had a blanket since the beginning. Although most nights he kicks it off.

Re: spinoff to pillow- when can you give them a blanket?

I was so nervous about this but lately have been putting Nikolas to sleep (for naps and nighttime) with a soft fleece blanket because he just seems so comfortable that way. Be it a coincidence or not, he has really been sleeping a LOT better in general..

He is still waking up in the middle of the night but is napping SO well.. and this was a kid who I could hardly EVER get to nap!

(he's 6 months old today and I just stared giving him a blanket in his crib last week!)
