spinoff to preschool/nursery
how did you ladies go about looking for them? google search? is there a book about them? Im trying to find a preschool in the glen oaks/floral park to bayside area. any suggestions?
BTW whats the difference between preschool and nursery school?

I haven't sent my kids yet, but I went to an "open house" at my library with 20 schools represented. Maybe you can inquire in your area about such an event?

Nursery school is for 3 year olds. Pre-school is for 4 year olds. I believe. I just googled schools in our area.

I went by word of mouth in the area. I researched a few on line and then made appts to see them.....then registered her at the one I liked best.

if you pick up those free parenting magazines at the bank or supermarket, you will def see ads for open houses.
esp this time of year.
