Spinoff to rotary phone-Caller ID/Call waiting?
Do you have it? Do you know someone who dosent?
I have to make calls daily and I find the ones who dont have it are usually the "older" people (who yell at me and tell me they have fixed incomes).
Its almost bizarre not to, you know?

My grandmother doesnt have caller ID, call waiting. It is incrediably annoying. Her theory is if she doent want to talk to them, she will tell you. If you get a busy signal, she say well if its important you will call back. Gotta love gram.

I don't know if my grandfather has call waiting... if he does, I'm pretty sure he doesn't know how to use it.

Actually my Grandma has it now. I find once you have it, you can never turn back. Its great!

I don't have call waiting, or caller ID. I only get 2 'real' phone calls a month on my phone, if that many so I don't bother with the extra cash for it.

I don't have it on my home phone but I do have it on my cell phone.

We have both.
Actually, I remember my Grandma having Caller ID YEARS ago when it first came out. I was probably aroung 10 or so!

I hate call waiting, so we don't have it. I resisted caller ID for a while, but now that we have it, I can't live without it

I have had Caller ID and Call Waiting since 1989 and I could never go back to the old fashioned way. This way I can screen my calls with out a 1980's answering machine.
