that you intended on them putting out but they never do? And they keep it for themselves?

We have a family member who always does this. We could bring a pie over and she never puts it out. We brought over XMAS (store bought) cookies on Xmas and she put them up on her TV and never put them out (when we are bringing them as a dessert for everyone, not just her).

Anyone else know someone who does this? What gives? Do they want to keep it for themselves, or only want their food out for everyone to eat?Chat Icon

YES!! DH and I brought dessert over to a friends house once thinking they'd serve it while we were there but not only did they not, they commented on how much they enjoyed it a few days later. It wasn't even a matter of there was too much dessert/other food because we were just hanging out, it wasn't a dinner party or anything and there was no other food being served. We were definitely taken aback by that one Chat Icon
