Spinoff to scrapbooking thread -- a Mommy GTG?
Would any of you be interested in having a Mommy only scrapbook get together? No babies, something at night after DH's come home from work or on a weekend afternoon. We can meet up somewhere (does anyone have the room) and all bring our pictures, supplies and anything we've made already. We can share ideas, cutting tools, materials and just help eachother overall??
I could use a night out without the baby and scrapbooking is really easy once you sit down to do it. I just never sit down to do it since I'm always with the baby! It would be an excuse to get out of the house!

I would love to learn how to do this and go to the G2G, but I am too far away and Dh comes home at 7:30PM. Have fun girls! Any wisdom you want to impart on those of us who are not "crafty" would be appreciated!

I live in Monroe and hour north of NYC, by Woodbury Commons. All of our weekends are booked until the end of September  . One of the benefits of having a lake house...everyone comes over!

Well, if it's anything like our wednesday walking group we'll keep it going .... and do it maybe once a month or so.
I'd love to start something like this. I just don't have the room at my house but if anyone offers up the space I'll help to organize.

I would be interestead also, but it would be my first time.
On a side note, I went to the meeting place yesterday and couldn't find anyone and i was hoping someone was going to hear my screaming son and pop out.

Oh Adrianna we were looking for you. I am so sorry you couldn't find us! We didn't hear your screaming son -- you dont' drive a Murano do you? I saw a murano pull in but never saw anyone get out of it. You should have called my cell.
Okay guys ... we should do this. Should I start a poll about the day of the week? Pugmama -- Doing it at your house is fine with me if it's okay with you! I'll bring a desert or an appetizer for munchees if you'd like me to.
Lets get this rolling guys....I'll post a thread with a poll to see what night of the week is good for everyone...and we'll figure maybe around 7:30pm since it will be without the babes? Except for pugmama of course, and we'll all play with Sydney!! What do you guys think, once a month?
