I had three months free there. There were a lot of meat heads...I was once on the elliptical and the guy next to me grunted/screamed all the time on the elliptical...Like a tennis player serving...Right after work there was a wait for some machines, but I guess that's everywhere.

I once entered a contest for a free membership and stupidly gave them my phone number.. well, they would call me almost everyday to see if I would join. Harrassed me for weeks!

I used to go to Copaigue - I liked it there. I wasn't a fan of the Levittown or Bay Shore locations. They each different even though it's the same chain (the staff and members make a difference).

DH and I both belong. I've been a regular at the Copiague, Levittown, Carle Place, Riverdale, and Fort Lee Bally's. (Don't ask! )

Last year I got really fed up with the Copiague one because almost all their evening classes became pay classes (as if the membership wasn't expensive enough! ) so I joined Lucille Roberts also. Haven't gone back to Copiague since then, but I still like Carle Place for lunch time workouts.

my mom has Bally's and I went with her once as a guest.. did not like it at all.
I have NYSC and loves it, I go to the one next to our office ( ) and the one is Syosset.
