SPINOFF TO Small Office-What do you hate about coporate culture?

What do you hate about coporate culture, or just working in an office/corporate enviroment.

I can think of a few things I hate. I am starting to realize I am more antiestablishment then I realized.

1)Having to drop everything when the boss asks for something.
2) Having a supervisor ask for ridcilous demands that in turn make you stay late or work on the weekend. I am having something delivered to my house this weekend so I
can take it somewhere to have a logo put on it at 8 AM on Monday morning.
3) The co-worker that is do detailed oriented he can't see the forest for the trees! Oh yes I work with this person on a daily basis.
4) Expecting your co-workers to not answer cell phones, not be on the internet when you do it yourself ALL THE TIME!
5) No maternity leave.
6) Every man in my office expecting me not return after I have a baby. Just because your wife did it does not mean I am going to or that my work is going to suffer
because I am a mom! It stinks because one girl in my office was pregnant and she was really slacking on her work before she had the baby , she now ruined it for me.

I could list more but I am curious to hear what you ladies have to say.

I hate all of it.
I hate bosses that are clueless. I hate pretending to work when I'm just trying to get fired. I hate micromanagement. I hate bosses. I hate drama.

I hate that I have been home ALONE all day because I am sick - but my boss wants a conference call with me at 5pm, when my kids are home.

Where do I begin?

I hate the stuck up Ivy league snobs I used to work with that insist GOLF is a sport that'll make you sweat.

I hate the Political correctness in the office- All the stiff jerkwads that think their $hit dont stink because they have some sort of degree that makes them *think* they are smart.

I hate dropping everything for my rude boss. If Im on the phone, whether it is a client or my DH, all I ask is that you say "excuse me" instead of rudely interrupting me.

I hate the fact that you are on a golf outting or one of your yuppie wine tasting adventures and I have to create your expense report for $800 dinners when all you can give your assistant for Christmas is a measley $100. I'm lucky if I can afford to go to Applebees.

I hate the fact that you can just simply say your "Working from home" coincidentally on snowy/rainy days when I have to haul my butt into work everyday. Yeah I am sure your Working at home. Is that why it takes you 5 hours to answer a simple e-mail I send you??

I hate the fact that you have a masters degree in business administration and you cant even work a friggen copy machine.

I HATE the fact that the rich get richer and the poor folks like me barely get a 3% pay increase.

And you expect me to work past 5 oclock on any given day?

SCREW YOU CORPORATE AMERICA!!!

The thing I hate the most is that I don't own the company.

That'll change one day. Just not THIS company.

I hate the raises- everyone gets the same % unless you basically work 24/7 and bust your a$$ and even then, it's not really a huge increase and not worth all the time you put in.

I feel like what you do is not ever good enough. I have worked for a couple BIG auto insurance companies, and the goal never seems to get met and tasks are never accomplished exactly the way THEY want it. And even if you reach the goal, a new one is set that is even more unattainable than the previous one.

The "higher ups" are way out of touch with the employees. In my job, there are certain expectations that are so out in left field and are not reality.

The being "nice" to people who really don't deserve it. Do your job then I'll be "nice"

People who take work compaints as a personal attack.
