Spinoff to Smithaven...South Shore Mall!
Remember the mini playground at the end of the mall? I also loved walking through Captree Corners. Did anyone else work in the mall? I worked in a hair salon in the early 90s.

Even though, it's not South Shore Mall, it's close enough...
Remember Gardiner Manor Mall? Sure, it was pretty lousy, but the bridge over Manor Lane to Stern's was pretty cool.

I loved the Captree Commons area- there was a very nice gift shop over there.
I remember a massive CVS in the front of the mall.

I loved that bridge! Rumor has it that carpet was eventually put down because kids used to roller skate through it! I remember a pet shop and a Radio Shack in that mall.

One of my earliest memories is my mom getting my brother and I pretzels at Captree Corners! Also, my grandmother worked for Woolworths for 33 years, so we were there pretty often! I can still picture what it looked like!

I was just thinking about Captree Corners yesterday! I went to the mall with my sister and half of the food court is out of business. She is ten years younger and I was trying to explain what it use to look like. Funny this comes up today.
