Spinoff to Theresa's Post Motivation

Does your Dh encourages you to lose the weight and workout more? Does your DH takes care of himself as well?

My DH loves when he and I works out together. He encourages me to workout harder and he helps me to get to the level I wanted to be.

As for Dh he is a gym rat. He LOVES working out and taking care of himself. Also, DH was a sprinter back in the days so he is also very athletic and competitive.

We both are into looking good.

DH and I used to walk every evening for an hour and a half and worked out in the gym from time to time together. I miss it. There just doesn't seem to be time but he definitely is a great motivator! He takes very good care of himself and now that the warmer weather is here, we do plan to walk every night with DD.

Dh and I used to be gym rats for the longest longest time. But then along came stressful jobs, then kids. No time- for us family time beat out the gym everytime.

Dh and I are each others coaches and support. When we eat bad, we both eat bad. We dont' diet, we eat anything we want in moderation. I would never deprive myself cause in the long run that leads to overindulging. My mom hates us cause we can eat 1 cookie or 1 scoop of icecream and be done.

We also take walks and exercise together as a family.

I'm not allowed to say i feel fat, no negative comments allowed in our house only doing...

My DH is better than me but he also gets a little more free time than I do.

He hits the gym, and also plays raquetball.
Motivates me, and no matter what always tells me I look good

No...and that is what frustates me. I can be unshowered, in my PJ's all day and he will come home and tell me how hot I look. I really appreciate how much he loves me and no matter how I look but I want to look good and feel good and right now I don't. I do if I put make up on, do my hair and cut dressed but right now I hate my hair and need a change, my skin is playing tricks on me with texture and well I get dressed and within minutes I have something gooey on me.

DH use to be a gym rat..he actually was very over weight before we met and lost 75lbs. The he lost another 15-20lbs when we first started dating. He was a 42 waist and went down to a 32. His motivation was that he had just gotten divorced and needed to keep busy. He has put some weight back on but I still think he is hot but I know he isn't 100% happy with him self even though he doesn't tell me. He does have a gym membership but doesn't go an his partner at work is always call him to go.

I think if I start going to gym he will follow my lead.

Dh doesn't really motivate me to lose wight. I have been pre preggo weight since DS was about 9-10 months, but I know DH would love to see me lose another 5lbs- though I don't think he'd ever admit that.
It's just so hard for me to go to the gym. I lost 48 preggo pounds by going back to work as a dance teacher, but if I added a solid 45 minutes of cardio a day, I know I could lose the extra 5 lbs. I am home with DS all day and then drop him off at mom/MIL in the afternoon and I go to work. By the time I get out of work, I am hungry and want to go home.
DH works all daya dn then goes to the gym in his building before picking DS up. It's almost like part of his work day.

Dh always says I look great and not to be too crazy about eating but he definitely pushed me to go to the gym. I figure if he can get up at 4:45am to go, I should be able to force my azz there at 8pm!

Being fit and looking good is extremely impt to both of us.

dh encourages me but gives me no time to go to the gym unless its at 8pm.

He claims he just HAS to go right when he gets home from work at 5 and when he gets home at 7 or so I'm shot from the day and putting ds to sleep.

I try but he's not making it easy
