Spinoff to tipping at the spa
You book a spa service and the woman tells you post treatment you can get a complimentary makeup application.
Do you tip the gal who does the makeup? If so, how much?
Or would you purchase makeup rather than tip (which most likely still means commission 4 her)?

Re: Spinoff to tipping at the spa
hmm, I guess I would buy something if I liked it enough, otherwise I'd probably give a small tip. I don't think you should feel obligated to purchase something though.
A tip is a nice gesture, although I have never been in that situation.

Re: Spinoff to tipping at the spa
i end up buying something but no tip. i feel like they work on commission anyway since it seems they are pushing the product.
