Spinoff to Typo post...........
Did you ever notice a typo in a book you were reading?
I don't read THAT often, but I recently read My Sister's Keeper and about halfway through the book i noticed the word "staff" was spelled stafff (3 f's).

Yes, and it makes me mad if there are several in the same publication. There are people who are paid to edit that stuff... sure, they're only human, but if it's your JOB to catch those errors? Come on.

All the time... NY Times, published books, etc. Pretty much anywhere there is type, I find typos... 
I was even joking around one time with an Asian friend, and when he showed me a newspaper (It was a few years ago, but I think it was Chinese), I said "Oh, that's a typo".... He looked and said "Yeah, it is!"
