If they were those 2, yes. I didn't know they made Mater ones though, where did you get them? Here or in the UK?

My Mom got them somewhere, maybe the Christmas Tree Shop...my sister knows. I will check with her. Mater gave him a blister on his ankle.

yes, why not? When he is old enough to make his own decision, and he decides to wear two different shoes, so be it lol.
When my brother was 2, he INSISTED wearing my bright red skirt to school. My mom was hesitant, but let him go to school like that.. the next day his interest in my skirt was gone, and no harm done. I think it's important to let kids learn their own lessons (within reason of course).
