Spinoff to... What do you miss pre DC days?
Was there something that you wanted to do or did right b4 you were TTC?
For instance... I told DH I want to go to Italy b4 we start trying so in April of 2008 we went there for two weeks.
Other than that I felt like I did most of what I wanted to do. There's still some more, but it can wait.
Stopped the pill right b4 Italy actually and hoping I'd get pregnant in Italy...  Didn't happen, but in Sept 2008 I did find out I was pregnant.

We wanted to go to Hawaii for our one year anniversary trip- instead we were taking care of our newborn.

I started training seriously for my black belt test, but stopped when we had DS. I had a few surgeries since then, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to do it now....

not really...I did what i did then and I'll do whatever else I want to do now.
we are probably taking Luce on his first trip abroad in June/July to Spain!!!

i wanted to go back to school and change careers. i did my undergrad in art then somehow ended up teaching special ed and i HATE it (love the kids, hate the job). i wanted to get my MFA and switch back. still a possibility, especially since i'm still on leave, but just a lot harder now...
traveling more would have been nice too, but i'd honestly like to take dd when she's older, so i'm not too worried about that.

I really did everything I wanted before having kids. Partied like a rockstar. Had a well paying job.
Traveled to a ton of places (and even though I have kids I will not stop traveling - Jack was brought to Italy when he was 13 months old) My family already has trips planned for the next three years - including renting a house in Sicily.

We went to Hawaii in April 2008, knowing that later in the year we would be doing IVF treatments - so that was our big bang vacation!
