Spinoff: Who do you use to insure your engagement/wedding ring?
We've had my ring insured under my renter's insurance (additional rider) since we got married, but when we moved, the policy premium JUMPED up like crazy. We've been paying it, but I can't help but wonder if I should just get a totally separate jewelry policy. I remember from the LIW days there was a company that did just jewelry, but can't remember the name.
Who do you use to insure your ring(s)?

This is going to sound bad, but we don't have it seperately insured. It's covered under renters but that's it. It wasn't terribly expensive, so I guess that's my reasoning.

Ahhh, yes, that was it - Jeweler's Mutual!
Since the premium with my renter's and car insurance is so high, I'm definitely going to check out Jeweler's Mutual. Thanks!

We had it with Chubb
Now its a rider on my Liberty Mutual HO policy.
For the same coverage(nearly) it cost less than 1/2 what it used to with Chubb
