Spitting Food
My son spits his veggies and meats back at me when i feed him. Obviously, he doesn't like them....what can i do to get him to eat these things? I've tried mixing them with cereal and formula but nothing helps anymore!!
Are there kids out there that just eat fruits until they start eating table foods? I don't want my son to be that way but i may not have a choice!

not a silly question at all..im sorry i dont have any advice bc right now dd eats everything in sight but i would htink as long as he is eating fruits that is a start ..have you tried to mix it in with cereal? that may get him to like it

Kids often need to try a food up to 20 times before actually eating it. I wouldn't give up just yet!

mix everyting with the fruit then gradually reduce the fruit.
meat w/ fruit, next veggie and fruit, etc.
ds loves pears and beef.

Spits it out like projectile or just like doesn't take it?
My DS doesn't spit, but sometimes it comes out of his mouth after I put it in and I just give it back to him.
Btw, have you tried the meat combos? DS loves turkey and sweet potatoes and chicken and apples.

I make sure that I give my son the veggies and the meat before I give him the fruits (I give all three at dinner). But sometimes, he just will not eat the veggies or the meat. I then try to mix it with fruit. Sometimes he takes it, sometimes he doesnt.
Also, i have tried to mix it with oatmeal, and that works sometimes as well.
