Spoke to my midwife today about labor inducing food...

I asked her seriously is there anything that is somewhat proven to induce labor-eggplant, spicy food, etc. ( Im obsessed about not going to 42w again-I am 35w) She told me not to bank on it all. She is very much into natural approaches and offered to start me on primrose oil soon, but as far as food goes, she said not to bother. Suprising answer coming from her. I was all ready to make rays of baked eggplant parmesan. I may try it anyway, because you never know lol

LOL yeah I've been eating spicy and all the wives tales' foods for about two weeks now and NOTHING. Tonight I had eggplant... so we'll see. I honestly never thought I'd make it to 39 weeks. My mom never made it to 36 with either of her pregnancies. I feel like it's wrong for me to still be pregnant at this point! (My body is certainly b!tching up a storm too...)
