wrist brace!! The carpal tunnel was getting to be too much.
Has anyone else had this problem??

Yes, I did and still do. I had my dd 2 1/2 years ago. The carpal Tunnel has improved, but is stiil there. I never had it before I was pg.

Those wrist braces are so fashionable. I especially lovvee the velcro sound ripping apart when you take them off :)
I have carpal tunnel in both hands pre pg and still after.
CT stinks!

Search my posts!  I wear them ALL the time  Now I'm just down to numbness. I see an acupuncturist/chiropractor/cranial sacral therapist once a week. We're working on it, but it's a slow process.

I go to the chiropractor twice a week, and acupuncturist about every 3 weeks. We are working on it too, but the acupuncturist doesn;t know about it yet since it is new to me.
Just hope it goes away after the baby! I usually just get it when I am sleeping - sometimes I will wake in the middle of the night because one or both forearms/hands/writst are numb. SOmetimes just in the morning...so, we'll see...

I wear them every night to bed. It helps.. Over time it will help more then at first. But I had carpal tunnel severely before pregnancy, not sure if you did?

I developed it around 14 weeks and it lasted until 3 weeks after Hayley was born. My right hand was worse, it was numb all the time and the left was just tingly most of the time. I found this great brace to wear at night, it looked like a blue cast. I think I got it at CVS. It was great for sleeping but not for during the day.

YUP! It comes in waves though. Mostly I feel it at night usually when I forget to put the brace on. If I fall asleep with it on I usually have no problem.

I agree!! I think the "pregnancy powers that be" (or some of us ladies here in LIF)... should go into business to create a special line of braces JUST for pregnant woman that get carpal tunnel syndrome!!
(I want in if someone cashes in on it!!
