The Giant game runs past 10 tonight?
I know they asked the NFL to start the game at 7, so that it would be over by 10, and they could jump to the RNC and McCain's speech.
Do they have a plan if the game runs into overtime?
Are they going to delay McCain's speech? Show it on tape delay? Bump the end of the game or the speech to another network?
Was just wondering

I guess they have no plan
ah well - should be interesting to see what they do
NBC is in a tough spot
Both events are a major ratings draw
If you cut to the RNC, you p*ss off the large NFL fan base
If you don't, and drive viewers who want to see the speech to ABC, or CBS, you get criticized for downplaying an important election in our country's history

The people you pi$$ off are a bunch of NY'ers who are not afraid to call NBC and give them a piece of their mind. Maybe they will scroll across the bottom and suggest people turn to MSNBC if the game is running over. That way they can appease everyone.

Won't it be on ABC and CBS as well? I know that doesn't matter for NBC, but at least if you want to see it you can. Maybe they will keep the football on and have the convention on a different channel? As you said, they aren't going to win either way!!
