Spotting after BFP
Just got my BFP yesterday and I had some brownish spotting. I just wanted to know if that's normal. I don't remember having that with my first pregnancy. I also have some slight cramping...nothing painful.

Yes, it is! It sounds like implantation bleeding! I also felt some cramping too.

I actually had this earlier in the week right after I received my BFP as well. My doctor's office said it was completely normal, especially around the time you would have gotten your period. It could be implantation bleeding. They said as long as you don't have severe cramps with it and the blood is not bright red not to worry. I still have AF type cramps off and on, but not as much as I did at the start of the week, and the light tan spotting has stopped completely.

I had it this time around. It was just implantation spotting. As long as it is brown it is okay.

I didn't get it with my first pregnancy either. But this time around I got it before I tested and thought I was getting my period. The cramping was there as well, and then low and behold I got my BFP!

brown blood is old blood. Unless it is a lot and bright red, you have nothing to worry about.

With my first pregnancy, I had spotting. I was freaking out, but it turned out to be fine.
