Spotting in 2nd trimester

I am almost 21 weeks pregnant and I just wiped myself and had like a brownish blood on the toilet paper, like old blood. Does anyone know what could be causing this and should I call my Dr. and make an appointment for tomorrow? Thanks I'm just freaking out a little.

I spotted at 19 weeks with DS and it was nothing. It is normal and just seems to happen.

It was also the longest day of my preg and VERY upsetting Call your dr and see what they say. I went in and they did a quick sono and all was fine.

I had spotting one day around 18 or 19 weeks. It was Thanksgiving and I overdid it - cleaning & cooking. I went to the doctor the next day and everything was fine. She put me on bed rest for the weekend. She thought I might have busted a capillary. I'm not sure what that means but it never came back.

You should put your feet up and see your doctor. Chances are it is nothing at all.
