spotting mid cycle?

anyone ever experience this?

last cycle was so out of whack. My cycles have always been regular- 28 days. 30 at most. last month was 36 days.

Now i'm on cd#16. No signs of ovulation. Last night i started with small amounts of brown discharge.

This afternoon it changed to pink/red (not AF red though). Now it seems to be nonexistent.

I'm getting so aggravated i can't even tell you. Anyone experience this spotting in the middle of their cycle like this?

I had some spotting this month as well. On like CD 10 or 11. So, my flow from my period has stopped for a day or two, then I got some red spotting.

I asked my doc, and she said sometimes that just happens-- and because I am TTC, I may notice things more-- or I may think differently of when I notice. Thing is-- spotting can mean nothing, or mean something. So, one time is probably nothing to worry about.

I did do a little researching-- and found some things that said sometimes you can have a little spotting due to hormonal changes leading up to O.

Well the spotting has come back today. Cd#17. Sometimes brown. Some pink.

Went to OB today. She was awful and useless (not the one i normally see). Told me that maybe last month i miscarried and didn't know it (completely doubt it) and we wouldn't know. She gave me no reasons behind the spotting except "let's wait and see, your body changes, etc."

I asked for bloodwork and she said no. I pushed for a sono.

The sono tech said everything looked good. No cysts or anything like that.

I asked if she could tell if i ovulated already and said maybe because there was nothing on my ovaries.

But i've been using OPK's and CBFM and have not gotten any peaks at all.

I just don't get it.

Exactly this..

I had a twinge of blood in my CM and I chalked it up to BD but I'm thinking maybe O is coming..

I used to get mid cycle bleeding all the time. My dr found polyps in my Uterus that I had to have removed. SHe found them by doing an internal sono with fluid put into the uterus.

Yes, I had this happen. When I thought I was about to O, I got a weird light AF. OB said that I had an anovulatory cycle and my periods might be a little screwy for a while afterward. I bled again 2 weeks later. The next month everything was back to normal. He said that we notice things more when we are TTC. I had NEVER had anything like that happen before.

Can you explain this to me? Someone else has said this before and i don't get it.

I think in the past i would have noticed the mid cycle spotting/bleeding.

ITA, which is why I said that I never had anything like that before. I mean I would notice if I started bleeding way earlier than usual, regardless if I was TTC or not! IDK, maybe some people don't keep track as much. I think that the stress of TTC might also bring on a weird cycles. OB said that it's very common to have a anovulatory cycle once in a while.

Well according to my OPK's, i probably ovulated yesterday.

Today my spotting has stopped.

Yes it could be ovulation spotting i've been having for 6 days straight, but it seems odd to be that much.
