Spotting Question
Hi Ladies,
I have a question. I am 9wks5days. On Friday Night I had a little scare had some brown spotting with a little blood. I went to the dr and thank goodness my two little ones are doing great! My dr. said sometimes it just happens and they don’t have an answer for it and especially that I am carrying twins. This morning went I went to the bathroom I noticed a little more brown spotting but I have not cramps or anything like that. Has this happened to anyone a couple of times during your first trimester? Thanks for any input you may have.

Re: Spotting Question
I had red blood at 5.5 weeks and then brown blood at 10 weeks and again at 11 weeks. DC are almost 8 months old. Good luck!

Re: Spotting Question
Happned to me too at 6, 7 and 8 weeks. Knock on wood, nothing since then. But the first 2 times it was alot. Everyting turned out to be fine with my two. I'm now 12 weeks and everything is still looking great. My Dr. said the same thing. These things happen and he would not be suprised if it happened again. He told me when it does happen to just try and stay off my feet and relax. As long as it is not really heavy and i do not have severe cramping, then he was sure everything was fine.
I also read on another website that bleeding with multiples is more common.

Re: Spotting Question
I spotted throughout the first tri and all was fine. Twin pregnancies are more prone to spotting as well as IVF pregnancies

Re: Spotting Question
I am 17 weeks today. I did have spotting (actually a little more than spotting) at 11 weeks. Went to my doctor who told me that this was normal, really no explanation, etc.
I have had spotting on and off this whole pregnancy.
I went for a growth sono at LIJ last week and the tech told me I had a low-lying placenta, my doctor told me this could be the reason I have sporadic spotting. Hope this helps.

Re: Spotting Question
I had red blood at 5 weeks, I was so nervous because of my history with miscarriages.
Went to the doctor the next day and saw two sacs, my twins turned 2 in May.
