SPR - fundraiser for Sophia's Cure - need some help with something

We are thinking of doing a Zumba fundraiser for Sophia's Cure.

My question is this, I want to find the biggest VFW or Firehouse. Do you know of any? I have only been to one in Levittown, and it's not THAT big.

Thanks! Anywhere in Nassau or Suffolk would be good.

Just an idea...what about a high school gym??? That way we can really fit in a lot of people....Wantagh, Macarthur, what do you think? When were you thinking of doing it?

Maybe a gym would offer up one night of free space?

The VFW in Centereach is huge. My friend used to run crops out there and the main room was set up for over 100 scrapbookers - that's full tables, aisles, etc. LOTS of room.

There is even a stage for the instructors.

Yes! We were thinking about that, but not sure how to go about it. Macarthur would be amazing.

Memorare Club in Seaford

Never been there, but some of you mentioned it was large when I was looking for the babys baptism party?

Eta- I have an email in to my Sister , she is president of fundraising for the March of Dimes/ Long Island and she has got to know of places ( well I'm hoping) ...will let you know if she has any suggestions/ideas.
