SPR: Christmas Card postage
This is SPR because my christmas card is of my DD
Anyway, I sent out my cards last week and just got 2 returned saying insufficient postage. It says they need 20cents more. I sent out about 50 and so far these are the only ones I got back. I know other people got theirs. Anyone know why that could be? They are light and the envelope is 5.5x5.5. Oh and one of them was sent to my SIL at the same address as my BIL and MIL. BIL and MIL got them but SILs got returned. I really hope I don't get more back. Ideas?

Re: SPR: Christmas Card postage
It's because of the non-standard size. I don't know if they still do this, but they used to stamp the envelope with "postage due" and the receipient receives it like that and is expected to pay.

Re: SPR: Christmas Card postage
I had no idea!!! I even looked at the usps website beforehand and didn't see anything I really hope that the recipients don't end up having to pay that would be pretty tacky!! My parents got theirs without issue so hopefully most made it through. Thanks for the heads up.
